8th SRH Solar Summer Team-up! in Berlin and Bavaria (2023)

Together we dived deep into system design and implementation, we discussed about potential projects and cooperation, we met the industry at The smarter E / Intersolar and conducted the new “Berliner Solarstammtisch (international Solar Get-together in Berlin)”.

We had again a great time in Memmingen at the company Phaesun GmbH, spent a beautiful day at Lake Constance and strolled through Munich, visited the Biergartenfest of SL Rack GmbH in Oberbayern, visited the factory of BAE Batterien GmbH in Berlin, had the companies BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme AG GmbH and BayWa r.e. Global over in class, while the Swiss company Katadyn Group Outdoors (Katadyn Produkte AG) joined us via Zoom, and we looked deep into PV module recycling together with colleagues from Institute of Applied Resource Strategies (IARS) (Institute for Applied Resource Strategies at SRH). 

Supported by Bau und Energie Beka GbR, we equipped the “Bauwagen” (Cabin) of Götz outside of Berlin at Hof Prädikow with an off-grid PV system (1.66 kWp), and did so much more, like for example looking into the topics solar cooling (supported by Solar Cooling Engineering GmbH Engineering GmbH), solar pumping (Green Energy Academy-Egypt), and decentral solar water provision (NoorNation).

We were super glad to this year find out again about the strong motivation and great response of our trainees, notably also the ones joining online. You made it a great event as always, keep it up!
